Saving a state's budget without compromising its services is very beneficial to both its people and the government. The United states Department of Transportation has conducted a lighting project that will save the department's budget. This project is about using energy-saving light-emitting diodes (LED) in replace of high-pressure sodium bulbs for the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge which gave the bridge a new glow and look to it. To find out more about LED lighting and if can it be also applied to the Golden Gate Bridge, can be read here.
