The site should inform about our work and products. In general it should put the visitors in a position of understanding the various products and application possibilities we offer.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Having several sites, I know that for a new start up business it can make the difference between being successful or not.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I hope that the combination of a nice design and relativ new, unknown products will draw the needed interest.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
keep it for income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The new business will open in mid July 09', so it is to early to ask that question. In the past I did ok with my investments and time.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Just as an example: If I had all those funds, I wouldn't type all this on my own. Well, I would employ specialits to drive the traffic for the site, because I do enjoy the web.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing yet, but more because it isn't the first time to start a venture.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To collect all the papers and documents to apply for a new investors visa at the US consolat in Germany.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
All I know from my past experiences, only supreme SEO work will work in the long run. I'm lucky, I do employ a great developer.

Everthing as expected
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We're up just for 4 or 5 days now. I know how long it takes and won't be discouraged that easy. Plus I'm filling out all this, so what can go wrong?
Do you think the web needs to change in order to improve possibilities for everybody?
Yes, I do. It would be great if even my mom could benefit from it, but so far, I cannot see that. Last but not least, I'd like the dominance from Google to even out a bit.
